When you ignore the ingredients, the world around you suffers.
Earth Harbor is a hidden gem amongst natural skincare brands.
1% for the Planet
Founded by a toxicologist & Herbalist
A woman made brand that embodies the mythical elements of the ocean and the planet. With names like “Nymph Nectar” and “Mermaid Milk” I knew the soul of this company was meant for me and my magical self care routine.
Earth Harbor products are made without “Synthetic ingredients (including artificial dyes, fragrances, synthetic preservatives), GMOs, gluten, soy, toxins, fillers, chemical additives, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone, emulsifying wax, nanoparticles, mineral oils, petroleum, and over 2,700 other questionable chemicals found in the beauty industry— including all 1,300+ banned in the EU.”

Modern mermaids need a little spark in their self care…
Ever since college I have had acne- hormonal and also caused by a very sensitive digestive track. I think skincare is such a daily journey that when it comes to topical solutions, it’s very hard to find one specific to you without getting wrapped up in all the “quick fix” fads.
Throughout my early twenties I used Proactiv religiously, and it did very much cure my acne. However, if I ever stopped using it, my face would break out and I noticed my skin was so dry and my towels would have bleach stains on them after drying my face. How could a product that literally chemically stains my towels be good for my skin and the environment?
That’s an easy one- it most definitely was not good. I cut that product line out of my life and spent years trying to figure out what routine would work for me without using all those harsh chemicals. I was walking through Ulta and this mythically adorable product line stood out to me. I wanted to try them, of course, but had always been let down by so many other brands I ended up getting a mini trial kit.
It changed my life.
I loved the trial so much that I reached out to their team to express how much I enjoyed them. To my complete surprise, they sent me a whole set of products to take with me on my trip to Nicaragua. I am so grateful to them and this chance to try some of my, now favorite, serums and cleansers ever.
Being in such a remote location such as Popoyo, Nicaragua; meant that I really needed to be mindful of the products I brought with me. Everything in this area is eco friendly and a resource such as clean water is a very precious one. This meant that Earth Harbor would be the perfect option to use while I was traveling. I could have washed my face in the ocean without a worry as to what chemicals I was washing away, because their products have none.
My skin has never looked and felt this amazing and I can wash my face with a completely clear conscience. I am so excited to try more of their collection but I will say my go to self care items are currently:
